well set up for the national stationary show is tomorrow and there is so much to do. i am so lucky my father is able to help me. he is always there for me and i am blessed.
i'm excited and nervous about taking on such a big endeavor, but i am hoping it launches me into a new, phase of life where my work is appreciated and i feel fullfilled.
i had hoped that i would get support from a man i'm seeing but, that was not meant to be. it seems no matter how we try to come together, he really didn't contribute all the helpful ways he professed to be able to help. it taught me that you really only have yourself to carry you through. it's really you that will make it happen. you can't depend on that strength from others, you have to have it within yourself.
i'm learning alot. it's tough and i'm exhausted, but it will be worth it to have taken a risk in life and change my destiny.
come visit me at the javitts center May 20-23 (sunday-wednesday) at booth 954.
and of course visit me at www.caronm.com
see you there!!
what beautiful day to walk around and observe the smiles on peope's faces. i went to williamsburg to see a furniture show room named vivavi. they carry eco-friendly designs , but with style. the guy who is the force behind is very much on the pulse of what's happening in that eco-arena. you should check it out. we just hung out and talked about where it was all going and he has huge plans for it's future and his.
we spoke his spaces possibly being a good venue to showcase my photography in. so i'm off to check out eco-friendly papers. it's interesting how one thing leads to another.if you believe in it, it will happen organically i believe. you just have to let it evolve.
i invite you to visit my website www.caronm.com
having been to italy many times, i will be making a list soon of suggestions of places that i would and would not recommend. also hints about transportation dos and don'ts based on my experience. for instance, if you are going to take the trains or buses, you MUST stamp your ticket (convalida) right before boarding your train. they are all over the place, but if you are not used to this system or you're in a rush, it's easy to forget and you will be looking into the eyes of a very stern train conductor without sympathy as he hands you a fine of approx. $65. not a fond memory.
on the side...in greece, i would spend no more that 2 days in athens and head straight for the islands. the people and city will rip you off before you even open your mouth...run!
more to come. visit www.caronm.com for purchasing a slice of europe on my Art on Cards and photography.
i'm finally learning how to link. sites i like are...
check out ippie design for unique design in jewelry ippiedesign.blogspot.com
also rita patel has an amazing talent. her paintings are striking and strong and translate so beautifully onto fabric. www.etsy.com
i'll be adding to this list as time goes on.
i'm always thinkg of ways to hook up with people and share my images
with everyone. i've had people tell me that they go to the site to get
the sense of being transported to another place. here's one of my
favorites. i opened my window in my hotel room in bellagio and there it
was...this view. what a way to start or end your day! i was in paradise.
The daughter of a photographer... “I watched my father transform the downstairs workshop into a darkroom, which was excitement enough, but to actually see the images magically appear before my eyes, was awe inspiring.”
Drawn to a world of photography, design and travel, I framed and melded my passions into wondrous vignettes. My eyes and ears absorbed shape and light, as well as cultures and languages, like a sponge.
After being a Senior Art Director for 15+ years, It wasn’t until recently that I came up with the idea of turning my unique vision of the world into a business. With much encouragement from those lucky to have received my beautiful one-of-kind images, CARON M was born, a beautiful collection of art on cards and Limited Edition Prints.
